Q4 2020 Performance of Top Horror Games on Android in the UK

As the year 2020 came to a close, the horror game genre maintained its popularity among Android users in the United Kingdom. Sensor Tower provides insights into the trends of the top-performing horror games during the fourth quarter.

Identity V, published by NetEase Games, showed a significant increase in revenue, ending the quarter with $9.4K, up from $5.3K at the beginning of the quarter. Downloads peaked at 850 in the first week of December, while weekly active users rose to 4.5K in the third week of December from 3.6K at the start of the quarter.

Illumix Inc.'s Five Nights at Freddy's AR also experienced a revenue boost, reaching $3.5K in the last week of December. Downloads saw a high of 4.8K in the second week of November, and active users surged to 15.3K in the same week, although there was a slight decline in active users towards the end of the quarter.

The classic Five Nights at Freddy's by Clickteam USA LLC witnessed consistent revenue growth, concluding with $1.5K in the last week of December. Downloads hit a high of 370 in the final week, and active users reached 1.8K, up from 1.3K at the beginning of the quarter.

Ultimate Custom Night, another title from Clickteam USA LLC, saw its revenue rise to $1.2K by the end of December. The game's downloads surged to 494 in the fourth week of November, and weekly active users increased to over 1K in the final week of December.

Lastly, Five Nights at Freddy's: SL also published by Clickteam USA LLC, ended the quarter with a notable uptick in revenue, reaching $821 in the last week of December. The downloads for the game reached a peak of 264 in the same week, and active users showed an upward trend, finishing the quarter at 2.7K.
